Yesterday Rita’s Italian Ice had their annual first day of spring promotion. Free regular Italian Ices for every customer. After I picked up Will from school we headed over there for a yummy treat.

When we were done Cole got to dump all our berries on the scale and they weighed them for us. We brought them home and froze most of them so we can enjoy them for the next few months.
A few weeks ago we ventured out the north side of town and took Cole blueberry picking. He was SO into it. He picked all the berries off the bottom branches and Jonathan and I got some off the top branches.

I try to let Cole cook something at least once a week. Usually it’s cookies or muffins, something that will make a tasty afternoon snack. This day we were making muffins. He loves stirring the mix together. And of course we add sprinkles to the tops before we put them in the oven.
Cole likes to help me get his breakfast out in the morning. As you can see, he’s a very good helper.
