I’ve been trying to incorporate a snack into our Letter of the Week activities. This week we made Zebra Striped Brownie Bites. Cole and I baked brownie bites and then used white frosting in a ziplock bag with the end snipped off to create our zebra stripes.

For our Z letter of the week we did some tracing again and made a Z zebra. The zebra activity came from one of my favorite site – No Time for Flashcards.
Here are a few favorite A books that I recommend to go along with the Letter of the Week activities.
For the letter Z we made a Z zebra, did some Z tracing and made some zebra mini brownie bites. Cole loved the mini brownie bites the best!
Additional letter A activities included an apple counting sheet, cutting out A words, and an A tracing sheet. Cole really wanted to glue some extra foam pieces onto the A tracing sheet. I had him trace the As first and then glue different items on top of them.
For our A letter of the week we made an A alligator and an A covered with ants. Cole loved the way the alligator turned out and he also loved making the fingerprint ants.
