We did the craft a while ago and I’m just now getting a chance to post it. Start by cutting out a green W and a pink W slightly smaller. Use a hole punch to punch some seeds. This was Cole’s favorite part. Glue everything together to create a W watermelon.

We started this craft by going on a leaf hunt in the backyard. We looked for 10 leaves and counted them all out. Cole really liked the leaf hunt. He wanted to find 10 different leaves, from 10 different plants.
Last week we made a U Umbrella for our letter of the week. We glued a U down and an umbrella that I had cut out. Then we folded a toilet paper roll to look like a drop of water and Cole stamped water drops all over the picture.
