Instead of a traditional cake I made Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes for the kids and regular cupcakes for the adults. I made Cole & Kiley use regular cupcakes for use with their candles because I was worried about how unsteady they ice cream cones would be with fire on top.

Kiley loved Cole’s birthday dinner. She’s happy anywhere there is cake!
In addition to dinner, we also had a little cake and presents at Sweet Tomatoes. Cole got Legos, books, pjs, more books and an MP3 player. The cake was a small frog shaped cake from Publix. It was delicious.

Cole is such a sweet brother. The other day I caught him sharing his goldfish snack with Kiley. She, of course, loved them. Incidentally, Cole decided we should start calling her “little dustbuster” because she likes to eat the crumbs he drops off the floor. They crack me up!
After our morning at the beach and a picnic lunch we hit my very favorite cupcake store in town. Everyone picked out a flavor and we sat down for a special treat. Even Kiley got in on a little bit of cupcake action!
