Last week was Cole’s spring break. We took the opportunity to head up to Washington DC with my Dad for a few days. The weather was cool and a little rainy, but we still had a great time. The first day we visited the Vietnam Memorial and a few other monuments in that area.

Free Italian Ice…
Yesterday Rita’s Italian Ice had their annual first day of spring promotion. Free regular Italian Ices for every customer. After I picked up Will from school we headed over there for a yummy treat.
Today we visited the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum and the Museum of Natural History. Since we were early for the museums to open we walked across the street to the Federal DOE building, where Jon posed for a picture with out turned pockets. Nice. I was going to post some pictures from today but of course I left my camera cord at home. So you’ll have to settle for this one that Jonathan took with his phone. Tomorrow we’re going to the Air & Space Museum. Cole thinks he’s going to get to see a dinosaur.
The funniest part of the night was when the cook threw rice into Will’s mouth and it went all over his face.
