For our last of day of K-Crew adventure we headed to the Jacksonville Zoo. We walked around a while and the kids were able to use their craft binoculars and then we hit the splash park. It was great to cool off in the hot weather.

A few months ago we got a mailer that the new penguin exhibit was open at the zoo. Cole hasn’t stopped asking when we were going to get to go and see them. He was so excited to inspect the new exhibit, which is very nice indeed.

My mom was in town 2 weeks ago to help Ali out while she had gallbladder surgery. By the end of the week Ali was feeling better so we took Mimi and headed off to the zoo.
