We spent 4 days in Vancouver at the beginning of June and I’m sad that we didn’t have more time to explore this amazing city. We had so much fun and there was so much to see and do. We can’t wait to go back and here are our top 5 things to do with kids when you’re visiting Vancouver.
Capilano Suspension Bridge Park
You could easily spend an entire day exploring all the bridges. Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is great for older kids and anyone who isn’t afraid of heights!
Granville Island
If you’re looking for a great spot for some unique shopping and delicious food head to Granville Island. Don’t miss the Kids Market where everything is geared towards everything kids!
Science World at Telus World of Science
Science World was by far one of the best hands-on museums our family has ever visited. The outdoor science park kept the kids engaged and learning even after we left the main building.
Explore Stanley Park
Stanley Park is a huge green area in Vancouver with restaurants, an aquarium, playgrounds, trails and so much more. If the weather is nice you can rent bikes and explore further.
The Vancouver Aquarium
Set in Stanley Park, the Vancouver Aquarium has a great indoor and outdoor area with tons of sea life to discover. Don’t miss the butterfly area, they have a sloth in there!
Bonus: Jericho Beach Park
As a bonus, we threw in an an extra 6th activity if you have some time in Vancouver and the weather is nice. Jericho Beach Park offers stunning views of the Vancouver skyline and has miles of beach where the kids can run around and play.
