Our second full day in Georgia we ventured out to a real Gold Mine to pan for gold. We also got to tour a real gold mine underground. The kids had so much fun learning about the history of the mine and the gold rush in Georgia. We did good panning for gold and each of them went home with a few small pieces of gold.
