A few months ago, out of nowhere, Cole asked me if he thought they made elephant costumes in his size. He is obsessed with elephants and has a huge collection of stuffed ones. I’m pretty sure this all started with the gift of a stuffed Elmer from his Nana, but I digress. I immediately jumped on Amazon and found a costume in his size. Incidentally, there was only 1 choice because elephant costumes are apparently not all that popular with the size 5 crowd. I ordered it right away and when it came he was in love. He wanted to wear it constantly. He was so excited to wear it to school and to the library and to trick-or-treat. It is now housed in our dress up box and he still puts it on at least 3 times a week.
