Looking to get out of town for the day we headed down to Orlando for a day of fun in the sun at Aquatica Waterpark. This was our family’s first visit to the waterpark owned by Seaworld, and it was a huge hit for all the kids & grownups.

There’s something for kids of all ages!

One of the things that first struck me about Aquatica is that there is something for kids of all ages. It doesn’t matter if you have a toddler who wants to splash in the shallow kiddie area or teenagers who want the thrill of Ihu’s Breakaway Falls, there is a wide variety of activities that will please everyone.

Aquatica wants you to have a fun & SAFE day!

Not only are there multiple lifeguards stationed at every attraction, Aquatica also offers life jackets in all sizes for you to wear if you’d like. If your child isn’t a strong swimmer, don’t fret, you can just grab a jacket for the day. Aquatica is also a certified Autism center, which means the staff has been trained to help guests who may need additional assistance.

Aquatica gives you plenty of chances to relax!

Interested in just hanging out in the shade all day? Aquatica has lots of umbrellas throughout the park where you can grab a chair and lay back. If you want a more private experience, consider renting a cabana. If you’re looking to cool off, hit Loggerhead Lane where you can float along the lazy river.

Aquatica is more than just a waterpark!

As part of the SeaWorld family of parks, Aquatica offers more than just water slides. Visitors can get up close to the Commerson’s Dolphin and you can even slide or float through a viewing area. Be sure to check the times for feeding and keeper talks.

Make awesome family memories at Aquatica!

Our day trip to Aquatica was one of the best times we’ve had at a theme park. Aquatica is big enough to please everyone, but small enough to be manageable for a day visit. Now that we’ve been once, we can’t wait to go again!

  1. Sounds fun. My peeps LOVE a good lazy river. Have you been to Discovery Cove? If so, how would you compare the two?

    1. We have not been to Discovery Cove, but it’s on our list for later this summer. Aquatica did have 2 rivers, we called one the lazy river, and one the not-so-lazy river. On the not-so-lazy one you wear life jackets and float around. This one was everyone’s favorite. The kids probably went around 20 times.
